Lifeline
The American Red Cross Lifeline program provides peace-of-mind and access to help around-the-clock. Lifeline is easy-to-use and reduces the risk of living alone. In the event of a fall or an emergency, help is literally available at the push of a button.
The Lifeline personal help button is worn around the neck or on the wrist and can be pressed at any time to connect you with a trained personal response associate who can send help quickly - 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Get help in three easy steps
Summon help
When you need assistance, simply press your personal help button. If you have our new Lifeline with AutoAlert*, it will automatically call for help if it detects a fall and you are unable to push your button.
Hear a reassuring voice
No matter the time or day, a trained Lifeline response associate will answer your call, access your profile and assess the situation.
Get assistance
The associate will contact a neighbor, family member, or emergency services based on your specific needs, and follow up to confirm that help has arrived.
Equipment Options
The subscription fee depends on the equipment selected (choose one personal help button and one CarePartner Communicator) and there is also a one-time activation fee.
Personal Help Button
The lightweight and waterproof Lifeline personal help button is worn around the neck or wrist and connects with the base communicator of your choosing in the event of an emergency. The new, AutoAlert pendant can automatically place a call for help if it detects a fall and you're unable to push the button yourself.

CarePartner Communicator
The basic communicator hooks into your existing phone line and works with your personal help button to get you whatever assistance you may need anywhere in your home.
The cordless phone communicator provides the same features as the basic communicator, but in a specially-designed, large-button cordless telephone that even works in a power outage.
