SANTA ANA, Calif. – Orange County can honor local heroes, while supporting the American Red Cross, by purchasing tickets to the Bravo for Bravery breakfast on June 3 at the Marconi Automotive Museum in Tustin.
Bravo for Bravery is an annual celebration where Orange County residents and businesses can recognize the heroism that exists in our community. Nominees include everyday people who saved a life as well as law enforcement, first responders and medical professionals who went above and beyond the call of duty.
Animals are also eligible for the award. In fact, one of last year’s most memorable moments came when Sammy the Dog was recognized for saving his owner, Marietta Kelly, from a late-night fire. Nominations in all categories are being accepted until April 30.
In appreciation of their extraordinary efforts, the American Red Cross has partnered with Wells Fargo and the Boeing Company to provide each nominee with a complimentary breakfast and very special recognition.
“Bravo for Bravery gives us the chance to thank Orange County’s heroes for having the courage to save a life,” said Ishell Linares, financial development specialist for the American Red Cross. “We are grateful to our sponsors and thank everyone who has submitted a nomination.”
Tickets to the event, which begins at 7:30 a.m., are $50 and available until May 26. The Marconi Automotive Museum is located at 1302 Industrial Drive in Tustin; complimentary valet parking is provided.
